    323 hatch defrost issues.

1993 Mazda 323 SE. I push the rear defrost button, the light does not come on. All my fuses are good. Could it possibly be the switch? Which wires can i check at the hatch glass defrost for verification of power/ground?

    Thanks

    JACK.

There are only 2 wires go to the hatch grid power and ground just use a test lamp to check for power. If the switch does not light up check for power at the switch it is basically a power wire broken through the switch you should get power at one side of the switch with the key on.
