    seat belt question

I parked my car next to a escort at work, and I noticed the seatbelt was automatic like the one in my 323. I took a closer look, the seat belt looked just like the ones in the Protege. Problem is there aren't that many 323s in the jy around my way. Does anyone know if a egt's seatbelts are the same as the 323s and Protege?

don't quote me but i believe them to be a little different. it wouldn't hurt to go true one out tho. hit up the JY and buy one they cant be to expensive to give it a shot.

323 has a shorter wheelbase so i'd assume also shorter doors... so i'm betting youre gonna need 323 belts.

UNLESS you get manual seat belts from someone in canada, in which case 2-door escort ones should work just fine.

Actually you can buy the manual seat belts brand new they are sold as singles or pairs, I think pair go for about 75 or more not sure if I got the price right or so. And not necessarily from canada but definitely in the us.

well you still need the canadian trim pieces in order to have a nice clean install.
