lifting the needles is a bitch, i had at it with an LX cluster in the junkyard to get an idea of what i was going through.. bulb changing.. no problem, gauge bezel.. not impossible, but tough never the less. the needles.. i don't see HOW you would pull them off and reinsert them. the outter gas and temp gauge needles are impossible to reinsert.. they have that tiny metal stem that is supposed to be inserted into the 'motor'... it simply just doesn't work. after eyeballing everything, my gauge cluster will undergo some similar modification, but not until i get a lot of other things done :p:
