    Removing Car dings and dents

    I was looking ways to remove dents prior to a paint job and found this:

    What do you guys think?

    Im sure there are better ways to do body work but this seems pretty quick and easy and cheap.

      take a look at this one, it looks like the same basic idea. ill be trying it for sure, ive got about a dozen of those little dings on my car.
      91 Cayman EGT, Sprint springs, S/R Struts, ebay short throw shifter, MX-3 Seats front and rear, MX-3 tie bar, WeaponR intake

        to be honest i tried the dry ice method the other weekend, it didnt really work. or at least i didnt want to spend hours working a dent out. so i used it for fun instead

          +1 a friend and i tried it forever a few months ago. didn't work at all for us.

          although this method looks like it would work a lot better

            i got a can of duster from walmart for less than $5, and it was a big can. its dark so i cant really say for sure, but the 2 that i did look a hell of a lot better. one ding is completely gone, and the other is mostly gone. i will try to hit it again tomorrow when the sun is out and see if it works. oh and i skipped the hair dryer, i just blasted it with the duster for a few seconds. definitely looks promising

              heating and quelching will yeild a much better result, ad this with a good bumping hammer and you can do some decent paintless dent repair
