Hatch back seats in a sedan

Long story short, I've had some GTX seats sitting around for several months, and am now getting around to installing them. The front buckets are fine, and the bottom part of the backseat fits (although slightly narrower). However, the seatbacks are giving me a bit of trouble. I installed the hatch-style latch brackets from an escort gt, but when i test fit it, they do not extend far enough for the seatback to latch into place. Also the sedan bottom hinges are not leaving the seatbacks at the proper height.

Is there a magic combination of equipment to get hatch seatbacks fitting right in a sedan?

I think the MX3 latch brackets might be the proper length. I compared them to my 323 and they were a little longer; but I could be wrong it was some time ago.

4wd seatbacks are shorter than fwd seatbacks. i tried to put protege LX rear seats in my 4wd, they were way too tall.

      soo... yeah good luck
