my buddy called me today to tell me that he's parting out his 93 escort 4door. will the sunroof work on my 94 lx? how about the lower dash section that surrounds the shifter? will i need to modify that pretty heavily to get it to work? all the searching i did turned up stuff from the escort gt, wasn't sure if it was the same as the 4 door.

most Escort Lxs with sunroofs were aftermarket units.... being that its rare to find a sunroof on them.. but the center console will work , drops right in.. there arent any major changes that i know of on the scorts btween 2dr-4dr-wag.

yea interior of any scort will work with any other... as long as its the same number of doors.
dash, carpet, consoles, headliners should all be the same.. between 2 and 4.
sun roofs in lx's arent that rare i think that 2 or the 7 lx's at the JY the other day had them...
i wouldnt try to put one in your car if you dont already have one as chances are good that it will leakComment

FYI the Escort cup holders are useless. You can barely hold a 12 oz. can of soda without it tipping over when you take a turn.Not the sports page

well, my lx already has a power moonroof. but i was kind of hoping to swap that out for a glass one. that's why i asked. i figured since it was gonna be free, might be worth a try.Comment
