    daytime running lights

    can someone fill me in on how the drl's run on 1st gen pro's as i have an idea for a mod that i would like to try but i cant seem to find much info ... ( may not aply to our southern friends as they were mandatory up here and not down there )

    they use the same bulb as the headlight so i assume they just drop the wattage sent to the bulb.

    i need to find a way to separate that to an entirely different bulb if possible

    the easiest way would be to take out the stock drl box/relay and just rig up you're new drl bulbs to a running 12v source.

    this would keep the drl on all the time but you're probably hooking it up to the corner light in the jdm/edm lights and that bulb last for ****ing ever.

      actually mirage halo headlights but same in principal ...i think you are right keep it simple and that way i can rig a switch inside too for those " stealth" drives.
