Flat Black paint help me find (no rattle can)

im looking to paint my 90 awd pro flat black with a spray gun not a rattle can.
i have painted 4 cars with a base coat nason brand paint all turned out good, well i called my local carquest to see if nason had a flat black, no luck, i choose nason paint cause it was cheap.

so im looking for a flat black cheap paint,base/single stage paint.
i want flat black not satin.

Your supposed to clear coat it, but theres a matt additive u add to the clearcoat. At least thats what my boy that painted my car does. Looks awesome too.

satin with no clear coat will end up looking like flat in time(almost). Flat will end up looking like primer. Just use satin.

primer will fade, stripe, otherwise look like crap...

if you MUST use flat instead of satin, try some rustoleum flat black. its supposed to be halfway decent. i am considering using the rustoleum satin on my truck.

you can get it in gallons/quarts/etc at wal mart.

Dupont has a flat black in their Hot Hues series that we use for hoods and stuff. Looks quite nice when done right.

yeah i was just gonna say PPG has a flat clear coat you can put on. Body shop my step dad works at painted an audi flat black in trim black and cleared it in the PPG flat. Actually turned out very nice. you can buy the trim black by the gallon at a carquest or napa or just about any other auto store. just be sure not to get dry spots in your clear or it will turn out like major sh!t. good luck with ur paint. post pics after ya get it done! curious to see how it turns out.
