    I'm having the same problem, and its only 45 degrees out. Has anyone found a solution?
    My car is a Vazondissan. Part Nissan. Part Mazda. Part Ford. Part VW. Part Honda.

    1993 Protege - DX with LX upgrades. Still rockin' the SOHC. Custom HID headlight Retrofit.

    2009 Mazda 3 - Finacee Car. No power nothing. About to trade in for a 2014 Mazda 6 Sport.

      holy crap
      I changed the heater core in the summer to the Escort one (twice as thick), just recently changed my thermostat.
      The heater is INSANELY hot its so awsome! I have to open the windows even if its -5c (25f)

      Thats the coldest its been as of yet.

        Thickness of mazda heater core: 1.25 inches
        Thickness of ford heater core: 2.35 inches

            that would be a really good mod...u know not that it gets cold in the winter here or anything...

              It gets really cold here

              There was some mod required I had to make the hole in the box a little bigger but everything came out ok in the end
