I say do it. It still looks good, and it'll vent more hot air out of the engine bay.

and more rain in. Rain will be able to land on the turbo and distributor. Noty for me.
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

Put a vent on the scoop. That way you can scoop while you vent!

i second that, water and electrics just dont mix, even hot exhaust manifolds and cold water dont mix unles you like replacing them.

Marlon, im all for adding vents with the hoodscoop. from a front look it turns out wicked. you'll likely scare anyone that catches a glimpse of you coming up behind them as well

anyone that is worried about water in the vents really doesn't have any first hand experience with them. i've run my car for 2 years now without the vent covers. rain, snow, sleet. you name it i've driven through it. car still runs fine & i've no cracking issues.

i do also, the white gtr with the vents and hood scope, it's a cool pic.

and i second what ryan said. i've had my 323 with the hood vents for 3+ years, and have never covered them up and water goes in, but i've never had any electrical problems from it.

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.
