well today witht he help of my friend we pulled all the side windows from my parts car and slaped some 25% tint on them.....they turned out with 0 bubbles but there are a hell of a lot of fine scratch marks from scraping the bubbles out.......tommarow im going to trim the tint down so it isnt haning off the edges in spots and swap them into my car! ill just go to a pro to get my rear window done....... i dont see what you guys were talking about.......it was very very easy and came out SUPER!

what did you use to get the bubbles out? i used my license. i don't have scratches at all. but whatever, great to hear ya did it yourself. its always a good thing to experience, and its was probably alot easier to remove the window. good job!

Yeah with the window in i'm sure it is pretty hard for one because you're cramped up in your hot car without alot of space so I can see myself getting frustrated...

Make sure you wait at least 3 days before you put the windows in, or at least before you roll them down...

Post a few pics of how they came out....

yeah its only 25% i picked up 2 boxes of it at carquest for 30 bucks......

the windows are super easy to take out it just takes a bit of time and patience!

the front: take off the door pannel(3 or so screws) then it has clips that hold it in so you just grab on at the bottom and pull out and it will pop off. the when you get the pannel off you lower the window untill you can see the 2 10mm bolts.....undo them and the window pulls right out!

the back: take the door pannel off (1 or 2 screws(dont remember) then it just pulls out like the front) (the back windows dont have the same window track on them as the front) you lower the window untill you can see the rail on the bottom of the window. then take the crank thingy out of the rail and push the window as far down in the door as you can. in the door pannel there is a 10mm bolt thats holds the rail in undo it. in the top of the door under the molding (VERY TOP) there is a small screw, undo it. then you should be able to move the rail around and be able to pull the triangle window out.

all the windows go back into the door the oppisite way they came out of the door.

should i make a how to on window tinting?
