    Replacing quarter panel?

Well, I have some stuff to think about. I am tired of running around in a beat up looking car, and want to fix up the appearance of it a little. My car's left rear quarter panel is beat to ****, and I don't know is I want to fix it or just replace it. If I wanted to replace it, where would be the best spot to cut out? I have a rust free parts car I can get it off of, so I'd take it off of that. (I'm also considering swapping all my 323's stuff to the rust free one, but it would take forever and there are title issues I'd have to deal with, along with tons of dings and dents, but it's rust free, so I'm still considering it. )

    Thanks

Cut it direct under a body line. Invest in a set of off set pliers. So the ones that crip the sheet metal. Give yourself just enough room under the body line so that you can bondo the finished joint clean. Even better would be to solder the joint closed and not use any. Use the body line to strengthen and keep the shape of the panel. DO NOT cut direct on the edge! If you need to remove a 10X10 piece, cut out just what you need, unless the panel is impossible to weld other wise. When possible, weld from the inside to keep your low spots to a minimum, and be patient. Also, go to Harbor frieght and buy a body hammer/dolly set. It'll save a lot of time. Or just bondo the entire side of the car.
Too bad I have AWD and you don't!
