Some sunroofs have better designs to allow you to fit them better...the manual pop tops are the best bet, I believe the Neon has a very simple assembly that'd be easy to snag.

I had a friend, who does body work for a living, tossing around the idea of cutting the roof off of a sunroof parts car, and welding it on at the middle of the pillars. She didn't go through with it however.

yeah these are all things that ive been considering, however if i were to try this, id want to go all out and have a power roof. which will probably be the biggest damning factor to this bastardized sunroof idea.
on a side note, i like how all of us that have posted in this thread have been around for at least a year, have multiple cars, and sigs longer than our posts here. lawlz.

Yes, it has plexi glass over it. And it looks like crap with the plexiglass. Next summer, when I swap everything over to my rust free chassis, the sun roof will not be swapped over. I like sunroofs, but I don't want to worry about leaks and everything else. And I'd have more headroom. And I'd have to cut my perfectly good headliner and roof to put a sunroof in.

So, while it would be nice to have in the summer, I don't think it's worth it in my opinion.

and this is the biggest reason id have to go balls out and have a power roof.
