    DS Door Sagging

My door is getting worse and worse. The car has never been wrecked and I can tell the door is sagging alittle bit. The door has a little up and down movement if I induce it my grabbing it by the handle and its closes like ****..

What do I need to do, and what is the process to remedy this issue?

Remove fenders, access the 2 door hinge (3 bolts on the top, 2 on the bottom), loosen to allow movement, adjust to the correct height (I like to use a car jack and a folded towel to add cushion to the door bottom), tighten bolts on the hinges, check the door to make sure it closes well, put fender back.

Thanks for the replies. Doesn't sound too bad.

Where could I buy brand new hinges from?

There is one in the jy that closes phenomenonally (sp). I bet mazda wants a small fortune for a set.

I thought our door hinges had replaceable bronze bushings? Or am I wrong?
Pull the pins, remove door, remove/replace bushings, reinstall door, reinstall pins, done. No need to adjust the hinges. Might try just using used but good back door hinge pins and bushings.

bronze bushings would be nice...never heard of it personally though. If you find any more info about it, let me know, both my BG and GE have a sagging drivers door and would rather swap bushings than align the door lol

I wouldnt think aligning the door would help as the door physically has some play, so if you dod align it to close proper, i bet the gaps would all to ****. imma to the jy and pull of of theor doors off, since i need to get a ps fender anyway.
