the trick, it leverage like that bruce said, the also make sure you use your other hand to ballance, the ratch so it does not slip off the bolt. if you have a stong bar use it if not go buy one.

and if the doors were closed the seats are probably still good.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

went to pick-a-part today, no mx3's to be found. but i found a 92 lx with my exact color scheme. went to get the seats out, and i stripped the last bolt on the passenger side. DAMMIT!v i used a piece of pipe and my wrench to get the hard ones loose.

there are no other 'options' for a protege rear seat except for the bottom cushion.. the seat backs are unique to the protege sedan. and even so, anything other than 'stock' would either be some tacky seat covers or some custom foam and appholstry work. i'd love to see somebody take this challange on, but there isn't much of anything you can buy as far as 'sporty' rear seats .

you could fab in a set of bucket seats. it think my car would look pimp with a set of mx3 front seats in the rear.

not racing seats, but just bucket seats. it would be diferent, not practial but different.

and for those interested i installed an mx3 seat to compare it to my mx 6 seat

and this is the height difference that everyone is talking about.

i reinstalled the m6 seat, more comfy and i sat too low. my eyes were 1" over the steering wheel when it was lowered all the way. i also found that the mx6 seat had better shock abosorbion but weighed a good 15lbs more.
