I think Marc was saying the 323 Sedan aka protege. Manrique called his car a 323 4 door = sedan = protege.

You can use the 90-93 protege hood, but you will need the grille and headlights as well. Or you could use the 94 hood, because that is what you already have. The 323 hatchback hood is different and will not fit.

for simplicity
only use a 323 (hatchback) hood on a 323.
only use a protege (sedan) hood on a protege.
ah ok... missed that... I just dont want to see poepl toss away money on parts that dont fit... I have done that from personal experience and it sucks.
The Mazda 323 slanted headlights will fit on the Protege, same bolt mounts and also the grill. But as finding a notched hood, you can order a hood off a 94 protege or goto a wrecking yard and find one that is in good shape.

that sedan bonnet in the pic u posted (slanty hatch style front) is the best 4-door sedan factory bonnet you will get (same as Bg familia Infini or NZ new 323 sedan facelift ), for those who have the ugly rectangular one you also need the bonnet latch as well as grille & headlights ( speaking from exp when going rectangular to infini style on BG familia 4-door ).
so there are 3 BG fam/323 bonnets:
3-door hatch back ( has line following windscreen-matches up with front guards+ 2 lines running towards front near guards )
4-door rectangular dime a dozen bonnet ( 2 lines running towards front near guards)
4-door infini/323 facelift style ( no lines anywhere !! )

thats your opinion i HATE the slanty 94/323 style. i think its ugly as hell
Also, for the record, jasoncsescort has a 323 hatch hood and fenders on his protege sedan, so... they fit... Requires a little work though.
Just to clarify, I did put 323 hatch/GTR hood, fenders, grill, head lights,& marker lights on my 4door sedan, so it is possible. It is not a bolt right on situation. To put the hatchback hood and fenders on a sedan you need the hood hinges as well. The door body lines don't match up either so some modification is required

Yeah but if I had to do it again I would of just went with a 94 sedan hood and put the GTR vents, grill and lights on. It would of been much simpler and I wouldn't have body line issues

What I like about the 323 hood/fenders is that lip at the top by the windsheild. That's what sets it off nice.
