So all MX-3 seats will fit 1st gens as bolt-in? And 94-96 are the "better" ones? I'm looking at getting a pair from a 95.

                Thanks.

well the 92-93 RS (i believe its RS) models had a seat that is said to be designed by recaro...they look and feel alot more sporty. Maybe someone can post pics of the 2 different available seats from the mx-3

I'm more concerned with how they fit the floor bracket.

After reading Brock's writeup about seats, I am now looking at getting a pair from a 93 MX-6. $100 seems to be a fair price for a pair. Those brackets don't seem all that hard to make/install. I can't find the page Brock did with all of the pictures of the MX-6 seat installation.

I got some from an earlier model and they just bolted right in. No messing with any of the rails.

my clock in my 323 works perfect. Date and time works great.

                            ---------------------------------------
here are my mx3 seats in my 323. They hug you like recaro's and you sit nice and low in the car. I love sitting low as I am not short.

The later model seats are nice, but I just don't think they look as sporty. The 1st gen protege seats, I absolutely hate. The 2nd gen seats I don't feal much better about. It's like sitting on concreate sometimes.

So how are those MX3 seats on comfort. I have a 2500 mile trip coming up at the end of May, beginning of June. I don't have a lot of time to install new seats, but I should would like to have comfier ones.

I looked at my stock floor bracket today and boy does it suck that the "feet" that bolt to the floor are riveted to the rails. If those rivets were bolts, fabbing new brackets would be easy. I wouldn't have to mangle the perfectly good stock floor bracket by cutting the feet off.
