ome on guys lets give him a reasonalbe answer
Look the closer to a 50/50 split you have in weight the better the car will handle. the sedan has a better split than the hatch, because there is almost nothing over the rear axle in the hatch. When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

So his engine he goosed
With much too much boost,
And drove a rod through his block.

on FWD somehting close to a 50/50 split is better than say 70/30 split. granted you you do need weight over the drive axle, but the placement of the car's centroid is more important in a inscance of angualar acceleration (ie turing). if you can have the C of G centered between the 2 axles it allows for a better distibution of forces.
in a drag strip, and stright line performance, yes you want as much weight over your drive axle. When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?
