I drifto'd my escort and other comments

SO today I finalized most of my repairs and the car was ready to go and insured. I've been driving all day and a few interesting things happened. First of all, the suspension is way stiffer than I remember it being. I think it has a lot to do with the tires though, I have 205/50/15 falken azenis on the front and 195/60/15 all season pos's on the back. The azenis must be firm tires. Oh the azenis... Sticky tires up front is fun, I took a fairly sharp downhill corner at 45mph and out of *nowhere* the back end just flips around before I can even save it. Nothing was ran into, but it was ridiculous. Also, the 1-2 shift sucks ass. It's jerky and doesn't engage smoothly. Is that just my car or are all of these like that? And another thing, with the sticky tires, I get REALLY REALLY bad wheel hop if I launch.
Overall I like the car a lot, it's quick enough and handles well. Tomorrow will be a day of cleaning the car and PICS.

    pics are mandatory

Fill them mounts with poly, and launch like a mofo.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

<- azenis + polyfilled mounts+ eibachs= no wheel hop on launch
