Just rolled over 150k on my 94 LX with the lolomatic. Runs like a top, gets 32+ mpg on the highway (~24-25 city), and is essentially free for me to drive. When my wife added me onto her insurance policy with Allstate, her premium actually dropped. She has full coverage on a 2000 4Runner and I've got revved up liability only on my Pro. What was really amazing is that I'm 24 years old and my wife is 26. I thought I'd be taking it up the tailpipe on insurance till I was 25, but I've got a clean record (no accidents, only ticket was more than 3 years ago) so I guess that worked out.

Unknown milage. 323s dont come with a tach. this one has a cluster with a tach. The last reported carfax milage is 86kI live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

All original.
Runs great...amazing fuel economy.
200k plus miles or Kilometers
My Daily beter is on 199,220 at this time, and weather permitting this weekend will push it over the 200k.
I have an SOHC also, it is close to being ready for the road again.
Who needs any thing other than a Zoomer??
Not me anymore! And I had one of these before I got my 1st Zoom!

Our little 323 now has 172,000 kilometres and still runs and looks like new, no oil burning or leaking, I would have absolutely no hesitation getting in this car and driving it coast to coast. And I agree with Chris if I could go back in time I would buy a brand new LX 323 with all the goodies

Echoing the time travel sentiment. If I could go back, I'd get a brand new 94 LX, this time with a 5 speed and probably a different color. The teal that like 80% of all BG Proteges/323s were painted is alright, but I'm not crazy about it.
It's kinda interesting to think that when my folks and I were out looking for my first car in 1999 (yeah, yeah, my folks had a 6k limit on whatever I got), it came down to either the 94 LX auto that I got or a 95 Eclipse GS auto at the same dealership. So glad I got the Protege. I'd have turned out to be a dickhead if I got the Eclipse It had a 1 month/1k mile warranty on it and we used it, by God. It needed CV axles when we got it, so they replaced them under warranty. So far, I've only had to replace the CVs, radiator, temp sensors (all 3 of them), and the intake tube. Pretty good for a cheap little runabout.
