Mine's up to nearly 24,000 miles now.

        (nyah, nyah)
Once upon a time, I had a 1993 Protege LX with about 34,000 miles -- owned by my family since new, got it from my dad two years prior with about 18,000 (and two of the original tires) -- then I gifted it to a friend who needed a car. Now it has come back to me with 55,000 and a smoke-laden interior (plus lots of little broken things), so I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

most excellent mileage. Welcome to the forums!
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

227k. Original engine, clutch, trans, etc. Bought it at 144 and have beaten the living **** out of it the whole time. 2 telephone poles, countless kicks, even more blasts directly to redline immediately after starting the car on a cold day, and 1 ice race.

My last oil change was at 160k too.

Well, it leaks/consumes oil here and there, so I think it changes itself every 6 months or so. The filter, well that's another story. I'd probably need an air chisel and a torch to remove that thing.

EDIT: Heh, I've got the 6th highest mileage total so far. Maybe I have the right idea.

LOL i used to do the "burning/leaking oil" oil change system where i'd go through 5+ quarters in under 3k on my old car. But at least i changed the filter as that can get clogged and such and cause issues! Anywho i'm at umm 165k right now and bought with 144k 2 years ago. Drove the car WAY too much when i 1st got it for work, etc. Stopped doing that last year when i remembered that i have a $650 beater for a reason!
