Drove the beast today!!!!
I had theeeee most fun i've ever had driving my car.
Having the tighter steering rack & the wider stance is literrally insane!
it still has yet to get a professional alignment, after which it'll probably serve to improve some more.

New battery, pcv valve. Seafoamed about 350 miles ago, goin on a good 200 mile run tomorrow. Oil change afterwards, or next week.

well last night i installed one of these
but the purple section seems as if it was too tall to fit with the retainer spring that goes just above it. i had a helluva time doing that so i just removed it from the shift lever, and reused the white clips that were above and below it like before.
What the hell happened? i thought it(the purple part) was supposed to just fit in there with the spring and it refused to fit inside with it.
In the midst of pushing down on it, guess what happened.....the damn shifter popped out the bottom, with the inside section of the housing too. i've already seen the remedies people posted for that. screw in the sides, replace the bushing, etc. I'm just hoping i can point that one out at the dealership if i go that route, or with the screws/bolts, what size did you guys use?Chris
