i bought some gold mesh rims with a polished lip, waxed the car, and cleaned up the interior

i got the EGT's BP read to come out so i can get a headgasket/timing belt/waterpump/mainseal done to it so i can get it running for when i pull the Protege off the road for the K8 subframe/engine/etc swap.

here's what i did today. i'm tired of driving a three color hatchback.... sooo, i started a process. working from the front to the back, starting with the most difficult visual peice IMHO, the hood... soon, she'll be fully prepped and primered for her eventual jet black high gloss coat.

Mudflaps, baby!

I scored these from the Junkyard today.
I don't think I am going to put them on my car.
They look great and I have all the mounting screws, but my rear bumper is a little different, even though all the holes match up.
Anyone interested? Goes perfectly on a sedan.

fenders and bumper and grille painted.. next, i move onto the doors. and yes, i got rid of the japanese aluminum plate braket.. thank god it's off there now.

Just installed EDM headlights with functioning leveling system (thanks Dave) foglight grill, glass sunroof; next paint and/or install JDM bumpers (front&rear), power folding mirrors, JDM rear taillight garnish, GTX center console, RX7 maf... to be continued
