Thanks for the offer but non returnable unfortunately. It was special order and those parts are non returnable, I never even thought of checking if anyone here had one.
BTW I have given up trying to figure car makers out, the latch is different in the early models to mine. The early mdel used a round pin going into the latch the later ones used a type of bent wire hoop.
I can see changing sheet metal design but seat latches come on.

Just got back from my first road trip with the Protege. Went to Sedona, Arizona and back. About 1000 miles. The car did great - I averaged about 80 mph (even uphill) and about 30 mpg.

We conversated the other night and I told you I was having the same problem.. for the same reason. I unplugged all of my spark plug wires from the plugs themselves and unplugged my VAF harness. I left all of the connections to air out in the sunlight for about 3 hours and it fixed my problem. When I plugged it all back in and started it the engine ran a little rough until it warmed up but then it smoothed out again. (i am in horrible need of a full tune-up) If you haven't let all the connections air out, i would definitely give that a try.

            later.

I installed some universal manual seatbelts on my pro. they didn't fit too bad at all.
I just gotta do some cutting to the b pillar covers for them to fit.

You most likely have water inside the disy cap, since you went to the "car wash"... Two screws and some brake or electric cleaner... Give it a try...

Carb-- "NO" will melt the plastic... brake or electrical only... Or just blow it out with compressed air...

Well you know I had the same problem with mine. pull the plug wires and blow the plug holes out with compressed air, and take the plug wire end apart...mine had water up in the rubber boots and it was a mess. When I washed my 323 water got into the coil wire plug at the coil and caused the car to cut out. Aired it out and all is well.

There has to be an easier way to keep the engine bay clean without messing sh$t up...
