Sweet, I hit 141,000 the other day...due for an oil change plus apparently my fan switch stopped working shortly there after. My brother was supposed to get me a switch from the junkyard(ok I know I should buy it new but if it works it works, I'm still not sure it's the problem yet), I'll find out if he did when I get home. I'm working...well, at work anyway.

Thanks I am starting to get frustrated in finding one I am at the point I will buy anything then I woke up and smelled the coffee. I 'll just put her in storage and putt around in the B2200 after I drop it 3" and through some 5% tint on it. I just love driving the pro so much.

I was the same way before I bought my Protege. I was getting so fustraited not finding a car I wanted that I was about to buy a beat to death auto MX-3 GS for $1,800...then I saw the car and how bad it was, and figured I'd wait. Then a bit later my Protege came up on E-bay.

I decided to check my oil, good thing that I did. It was two quarts low..........oh yeah and I hit 90,000 miles 1991 egt

you burn that much oil? sounds like its time to rering your engine and rebuild your head.

kinda been neglecting it. what grade oil is recommended? do you recommend lucus oil treatment?

checked my oil to day to find out its full!! 163k and everytime i check the oil it's full.
gotta get around to putting the new filler neck/emis. tubes in by the fuel tank.
jdmpwrdford, do you leak oil or burn it?

I myself have used the lucas oil treatment, it is well worth it... I guess i would use the thicker oils in it, not 5w30. Then add the lucas so your oil level is full.
