      i think he means he just got it to start, but didn't fix the problem. maybe...

        I'd definetly say check the distributor parts cause when I had a problem like this it would rev up slowly but if I gradually got on it, it was ok but if I slammed it things would just slow down until it got to a higher rpm

          It sounds like a tps problem. Just because it shows continuity dosen't mean it's good. I don't believe its the 02 sensor, re-check TPS and coil for good spark

            Just thought I'd post that I figured out my problem. The ignition coil was bad.. That is what caused my car to have all of those problems.
