The LSD was a Mazdaspeed unit, got it when I was working at the dealership, removed it becuase it was more trouble than it was worth due to axel problems. Sold it off for turbo parts.

ITS THE ****ING MAZDASPEED PROTEGE LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL!!! Are you guys not reading anything me or adam sez?
You know? the one that comes in the 2003 and 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege? They use the same tranny as the LX protege, so its a no-brainer buying it, since its half the price of the quaife.
It is made by tochigi fugi Sangyo and is a 2-way unit. Costs $580-700 depending on how much you get ripped off from your dealership. Mazdamotorsports sells it for 580 which is the cheapest I've found it. You need a couple other minor parts that amount to about $40 to install it, a new bearing and seal.
