no engine because it is getting a built bpt with a gt28rs and emanage but my enginebuilder/car genious is busy and only works on it little by little.

Sunday morning the Easter Bunny or my auto body professional is delivering my MX3 to me. Then we are taking it on a 90 min drive to the relatives to show it off and eat some ham.

I bought this http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/pts/304937685.html , It's about 30 miles away. I got a buddy with a truck and a car trailer so it's coming soon to a driveway near me. It was owned by a hot babe so she didn't have to put miles on her new cars. The body isn't as bad as she says. Not sure what my plan on this is. Fix up, sell, keep, part out, or race. I have a short block that I think is good, I pulled it out recently because the engine was suddenly using large amounts of oil. I pulled the head off and the cylinder bores look and feel good and it seems to move just fine. Haven't got into the head yet but I am thinking that is where the using oil problem is. I am thinking of reringing my short block or putting it in the black 95 EGT, as is. the SB has 140k miles on it, almost all from me. The only engine I have rebuilt was a lawn mower's a long time ago. But I have swaped engines and rebuilt manual transmissions. I don't know if it makes sense to rebuild stock engines when you can buy good used ones $150 $200. Any one know what an economy rebuild job costs, just in parts and machine shop work?
