    Falken Hanabi 15 x 7 weight

any body have any experience with falken hanabi wheels 15 x 7? Edge Racing has them listed at 11.0 pounds but the falken site list them at 17.0. This is a big differance. I am not crazy about the looks but a $90.00 wheel that actually weights 11.0 pounds I could live with them.

i personaly would trust the site that distributes them (falken) also i just checked other sites and they have them as 17lb but that's pretty nice wheel. is this for autoX/drag or something? i wouldn't care much for weight if i was buying a $90 wheel

I am trying to autocross my 91 egt. I am trying to get the lightest for the lowest price. I know that it is a trade off, and the lighter it is the more it will be.

I've asked someone on my local autox forum who just bought 15x7's what they actually weighed, I'll see what he says.
What class are you planning on running in? Anything other that stock size rims (14"x5.5", or are EGTs wheels wider??) puts you out of stock class.
I just started autoxing, and it's a blast! Several other autoxers here and at the local club suggested running stock wheels/ tires while I'm learning how to drive, this has been great advise.

I am going to try to keep it in H stock. Our club is pretty small and not to strick, as long as it not a state wide meet. I usually get bumped up to another class anyway be pending on who shows up.

From my local autox forum- "The 15s are 11 pounds, well something like 11.2 on the Fed Ex scale. I used to run these on the Civic."
There's a set of 15x7 4x100 Hanabis with used RT215 Azenis for sale on my board for $380, PM me if you want a link, not sure if they would ship.
I might end up buying them as dd wheels since I couldn't run them in HS. Looks like I've found a deal on a used set of r-comps on steel 14x5.5 miata wheels though
