    Electrical / start problem

Great... I just reconnected my entire fuel delivery system, and when it came to start it, I got electrical issues everywhere. I'll do this in bullet point:

-Changed the ignition, including starter switch from a 92 pro, no cruise... I have cruise on mine. The reason I mention cruise is because the turn signal switch connector for a car with cruise is different.

-turn key to ignition, fuel pump cycles, all lights light up including check engine AND RIGHT TURN SIGNAL ON INST. PANEL, NO LEFT. Check outside of car, right front and right rear signal lights are lit. no lefties are lit. Signal left turn and everything is ok, flasher is clicking at normal speed, everything lights up the way it's supposed to. Signal right and the flasher clicks rapidly, flasher light on cluster stays lit, doesn't flash.

-Take key out push on Hazard button, and all lights in cluster flash , including CEL,brake, charge, oil, seatbelt...in short, everything. PLUS I can hear the solenoid click under the hood for the fuel injection, at the same speed as the hazard flashers.

-Push on hazard button with key @ ignition, everything is lit, like it's supposed to, the intermittent solenoid clicking is gone, the one right signal is still lit not flashing, the leftie is flashing thew way it's supposed to.

-Turn key to start, no start, check voltage at battery while turning key, battery staying at 12 volts, no load going to starter.

Now I've written all this, I think that the starter switch may be different on a '93 GT...

Whatever... any advice or input is appreciated...

does it crank?.. if it does you should check the battery connection, it sometimes gets loose and just tighten it up, or a ground somewhere, also your alternator belt could be loose, and if you find anything loose you might need a jump after you tighten everything up... hope this helps

Make sure you have a good ground at the firewall and the spade connector on the transmission
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

Definitely check the ground connection on the transmission, make sure it's clean and tight, that was the issue that I had a week ago that kepted me down for 2 days and cost me $300(replacing misc. parts)...

              It's Alive!!!! It's Alive!!!

Power wire solenoid to starter, three wires in harness fused together... probably touched it with the grinder when I was redoing the metal inside....
