Which car parts fit to 323HB 90-94?

This should become sticky in the future.

So, the idea is - let everyone write, plain and simple, what parts did they found useable for their 323HB, but were not natively from another 323HB from the same year range (model), or/nor the same car make (e.g. some Ford Escort models)

I'm bumping on such info all the time all over the net, people use parts from MX-es (3 and 6), 323 LX-es, Escorts etc. , but here we could have really clear and filtered list of all interchangeable parts.

If there were situations where you had to do some modifications in order to part fit perfectly to your 323HB, please note that and tell us at least in few words what has to be done.

Yet even better, provide us with a link to place where the part installation is well described.(if that's the case).

Hope this'll help many of us. Cheers.

Sorry but this thread isn't going to go anywhere. There's tons of parts that interchange that it would be a bazillion pages long and clutered. All info on specific parts can be easily found using the serch feature

Oh c'mon now, let's keep it real, shall we?

It's not like I can take Hummer H1 brake calliper and mount it to my 323 for cryin' out loud :D

I'm talking about major parts that could be used from another car make or model. You're absolutely right that there is no point in thread like this if people will start to assume that "my dad's '97 wrangler carpet mud guards fit perfectly in my 323" lol, neither will "hey, I once used some old ashtray that I have found in a local scrapyard. Wasn't exactly "bolt-on" fit, but I managed to make a new ashtray dock out of fiberglass. I't looks nice" do any good either.

I'm talking about parts that make some freakin sense and why would you wanna interchange them at the first place anyway... you know... like MX-3 brakes and suspension, sway bars etc.... that big parts... for "bolt-on-interchanging".

No one cares for "nuts and bolts", for "fabric on your seats", for all other parts that you almost always need to find a new ones or at least ones in really good condition (e.g. rubber parts).

If there's still majority that don't know what a heck I'm talking about, pretty please delete this whole thread and pretend that it never existed.

It ain't a bad idea, but indexing and such are gonna be a beeyotch. I've been maintaining my own database for such things for my cars, just cuz some parts are hard to find, or I'm using bastardized hybrid clutch or brake setups and if I forget what car the part is for, I'm screwed when it's time to replace it. Crap like rear brake pads for a 1stgen RX7 interchange with rear 323GTR pads....But I think by the time you build a cogent database parts interchange thread, it'll be just as easy to use the search button as it will be to use the thread...
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Not parts one could use. But rather, parts that one DID use.

As I said before, internet is full of siht like that, but searching the web and forums is just pain in the a$$. This way, anyone can just drop by and leave a line or two of plain text, where he can state something like "I've used MX-3 year xxxx stock swing bar "out-of-the-box". Further more (if any) "I've also described the installation of the bar in my post at *here_goes_his_link*, pics and bells included". That's it. No more, no less.

That's not a beeyotch thing to do lol

...things one KNOW that fit, not things that one heard it could probably fit but aint sure

I seriously doubt that everyone knows at least 20 things that 100% fits from some other car. But I belive that everyone know at least a part or two... and if you put that together - you get the freaking list

That's the other problem if someone just don't give a phlyin
