    auto harness for a manual

    my harnsess melted together today, found one for the same car but the only diff is its for an auto, will it work?

    you would need an auto TPS and there will be connectors unused, i would try for a BP 5Speed harness and save the headache honestly

      id do as shawn said, but if your really in a bind you can run that harness for now. try bombdoutscort or what ever, he had one im not sure if anyone got it.... pretty cheap too...but it was a few weeks ago ....

        It should be fairly doable. I'd just set it up like a auto to manual swap.
        You can get the auto park/neutral switch so it starts. Or just look up the auto to manual conversion wiring. Its just two heavy guage wires that you splice together so the car will start.
        Anyone remember if a manual ecu will plug into a auto harness (in the car)? The auto are 3 plugs at the ecu instead of just 2.
