title says all. Can I use Grade 8.8 bolts instead of 10.9 for the clutch pressure plate? Can't seem to find any grade 10.9 bolts >_>

they are 8x1.00 and 18mm long. I thought they were only 8.8 grade though? Thats what I bought a couple months ago and am using. But if the factory used grade 10.9 I would get them if you could. Don't forget the lock washers.Last edited by Ace; 09-21-2010, 03:21 PM.Comment

metric grades go 8.8, 10.9, and 12.2. similar to SAE grade 2, 5, 8. if you can find them in 10.9 I would go that route, its best to match whats in there already.2011 BMW 128i 6 Speed Manual -- dd
