Fuel pump relay wiring woes

Just picked up a 1991 Escort GT.... trying to get it running now (cranks but doesn't start) so i have my haynes manual and it does not support my actual wire color to my fuel pump relay (the relay at the feet of the passenger, lower right corner of the ECU) the 5 wires are: Light Green, Black, Purple, White/Red, and Black/Purple.
I am wanting to test this relay, and don't know which pins are what to apply 12v to.

for info, haynes has only 4 wires to the Fuel pump relay: White/Dark Green, White/Red, Dark Blue, Black/Pink (haynes 12-26)

post a pic if you can.

if not get a ohms meter and see which lead is the ground. and wich one comes a ground when the fuel pump is supposed to turn on (you can usually turn this on in the diag box with a jumper)

open the relay if you have to , i do it all the time...lol...

I don't have an actual picture, but with some mad paint skills, here is a diagram of what the wiring colors are at the Fuel pump relay

and on the relay itself, the P/N is 056700-6381 DENSO 12V Made in Japan

well i took the relay apart, and from the diagram above, i put the positive and negative jumpers from the 12V battery to the BLACK and PURPLE slots and the curcuit 'clicked' closed... so my relay is good..
still don't know about the differences in the wire colors from the manual..
