    issues when wet

    when I go through a puddle and it gets wet it will not get above about 2300rpm it just cuts in all gears right at that rpm.
    Usually fine the next day.

    Tried a different:
    igcoil
    igniter
    vaf
    disiti cap

    it's usually just moisture build up in the ignition system, especially if it's cleared up the next day.

    Is there a disti cap to housing gasket on your distributor? If its hard/warn it will allow moisture in. I've siliconed my caps on since even with a new gasket, it was getting wet.

      its weird how it stops exactly at the same rpm everytime.

            when its doing it pull the plug wires just to see if its getting in there, otherwise its probably moisture/water in the cap somehow, but if its sealed id guess the spark plug holes got wet somehow...

                thats funny you say that, i forgot he told me he needs an alt yesterday.... fix that first you said it was going down to 10 volts, or did you change it finally?
