97-02 is a variation on the BG chassis. some stuff is interchangeable, some isn't.

IIRC, only the suspension and transmission internals are interchangeable. Maybe some other small things too like seats, but I don't remember.

the chassis itself from 91+ is basically the same. some of the outside sheetmetal, electronics, engines, and transmissions are different. but, those aren't the chassis.
