I spent all damn day changing out the oilcooler hose that wraps around under the intake to the passenger side.of the block. How very not fun. While I was at it I changed the accessorydrive belts.
Im pretty sure my car is capable of hitting 130mph.... that was dangerous.
heh!......... want my gearing you could probably compete in nascar races.......
Installed my Front strut tower bar again, re-torqued my cam journal caps, and re-filled my tires with air. passenger side front was 4 psi lower then the drivers. and i was noticing a slight pull
Trying to decide if I should drive mine for a while with a cracked manifold... if I put some of that epoxy on it, will it be ruined for welding in the future? Stainless BTW.
epoxy wont do **** on an exhaust manifold. I would just take it off and get it welded up if you cant find anyone to do that then buy the expensive wire so you can use your mig welder.
Work was cancelled today due to "Frankenstorm", so I took the time to get my PSC/Skuce manifold off and down to the welding shop. Once off, I found it was way worse than I thought; almost every weld broken. I wish I had of taken a pic.
I will post pics of the repaired manifold when I pick it up next week.
ya i went under and to find out the weld that was put on the shifter linkage had broken off. i grinded it off and put in a bolt with a nut and also a locking washer to hold it in. now that should do it for a loooong time. i will have one of my buddies put a weld on it for xtra strenght lol.
