I will post pics of the repaired manifold when I pick it up next week.

Yeah, oh well. There's a few broken ones around. I really trust the shop I took it to. He said it could be fixed.

There is a member here who has, turned out good too. I'd suggest the kit from dipyourcar.com or whatever its called.
                      Videos you can watch too.

What colour are you going with? I'm looking forward to your feedback on this, as I might paint the BF with it.

I was going to go with either dark blue, or black...white seems to vibrant to me from the pictures I've seen.

I'm going to source out some cans locally since I don't have a spray gun or a big enough compressor to run it lol....and that dipyourcar site is pretty expensive for the purpose of this project but thanks for the link! I can get cans for $13/ea so I figure 12 should do the exterior since the dark colors coat pretty well from the videos I've seen...worse case I'd leave the hood and trunk til last if I run out of paint lol

In my experience, Plasti-dip that's allowed to sit on a surface in the sun or be exposed to heat will harden right to whatever is painted, so keep that in mind if you like your paint underneath. I have black 'dip on the window frames of both the doors on my 323 (as well as the "chrome" corners of the weather stripping around the hatch window) so they will match the top half of the car better than being plain white against a lot of black. It's completely baked on, now. Lots of people have had trouble with removing it from their wheels because the brake heat cooked it right on.

Good to know! I don't think I'll have any complaints if it doesn't want to come off though lol I have the opposite issue with my paint right now and it's insanity!
