What did you do to your BG(part 8)

    Nothing special. Just wanted a daily driver that gets better than 16mpg. I'll start a build thread for it when I get it registered and start driving and tweaking it.


    I scrapped the stickers off the windows, washed the windows inside and out (rag was literally black when I finished), vacuumed out the inside and engine bay, oiled the door locks, filled up the oil (drove it home almost a quart low, oops), filled up the brake fluid, put on my snow tires, polished up the headlights a bit but don't want to spend too much time on them since I'm putting my edm's in there after I can find the H4 connectors, and tightened some loose bolts that squeaked for the whole 6 hours home yesterday and I know this since I didn't have a radio.

      nice protege..... drove my 323 for the first time in about 2 months, and it runs well.. i was gonna post a video but didnt make it since it started misfiring. the wires are throwing a weak spark on cylinders 2 & 3...

        pulled all 3 wiper arms off my 323. dropping a few things off at the powdercoaters tomorrow

          put my BG in the storage barn I miss her already...really need to relocate to somewhere with less snow...

              Got my radiator out. Can't actually see any holes or cracks. I'll plug the bottom and fill it with water to see where exactly it failed.

                  Looked at it and left it at work again and drove the mb sprinter home. use the company turbo diesel and save my gas.

                    I wondered why the hell me lil treasure started running like shytzenkrappen all of a sudden,filthy sooty pig misfire rich. Pull out my trusty intake tract pressurisation tool and listen fer the hissin and find a vacuum hose T junction failure under the intake manifold that resulted in the FPR getting no signal. Well now there's yer problem...

                            running his boost levels probably lol, it's a 1:1 unit, so it wouldn't increase fuel pressure when boost is detected.

                              Yeah, between the vacuum leak and no fpr, it was one unhappy hotrod. It really is kinda stoopid to ask your dailydriver to do what I'm demanding of it but it is amusing...I'm just happy to have been lucky enough that I decided not to romp on it when it was like that.. prolly woulda gone lean and holed the pistons.
