Actually, I will pretty soon. I'm hoping I can find an mfactory diff for it too.

I was in the process of pulling over anyway, so when the trans locked I just slid right where I was pointed.

What's weird is that with the shifter in neutral, I can drive it. I'm pretty sure it's in third. Obviously then, when I put it in any other gear it binds and won't move since its in two gears at once.

i changed the oil on the 323..... also i have tried two different thermostats and when im cruising the temperature drops down to C, when im idling it goes halfway, and i have heat so i dont think thermostats is stuck open. Has anyone had this happen to them before? could it be the temp sensor?

Picked up 8 snow tires for $140. A nice set of winter IPikes, and my old set of studded Altimax Arctics. Sold the altimax tires on egt fan blades two years ago for 300. Dude bent a rim within a few weeks, and they've been in storage since! He listed them on CL, I recognized them, and figured why not!

I have two sets of EGT 7 spokes sitting around, so each set of tires will be mounted and balanced, and I'll have tires for many winters to come! Sell the three good fan blades, and scrap the bent one, I might even break even!

either you have a big assed air bubble in there or the water pump is failing

Yay! Mine is doing the exact same thing. Another thing to add to fix on the daily.

I picked up some replacement bulbs and the H4 harness so I can put in my new head lights. Maybe this week if I can get my diesel heater to start I'll put them in. It's currently 2 degrees outside and the water froze today at the house right at the meter, the high today was 6. Where the F is some warmer weather?

Yep, it even happens to me in Phoenix when it gets in the 40-50's. I put some cardboard in front of the radiator to partially block it, or reduce the airflow going into the front of the car somehow.

I would try blocking half of it and see what happens first. I currently have about 2/3 of min blocked off it works fine like that.

They arent fail safe ones are they? Do you have your heater hoses routed properly?

Going down the highway tonight the wheel would periodically jerk out of my hand. It felt as if the steering had broken and the right front wheel was turned fully to the right. I could barely keep the car on the road, it was pulling so hard to the right. So I pulled off at the next opportunity and it felt like the wheel was about to fall off and was making some really evil noises. I pulled into a space and jiggled the wheels to check for play and the right front seemed to move a bit. I was nearly home, so I figured I would limp it back, but as soon as I pulled out of the space, all was well. Not a sound or movement. The whole rest of the way home I thrashed the car with hard stops, launches and some aggressive slaloming and nothing happened. I'm gonna take a look underneath it tomorrow and see what I find. Any ideas?
Sounds likke a failing CV joint to me.

I had this happen to me in my camry, it locked up on me in the ghetto area of louisville too, i was scared ****less.

Found a pretty bad leak in my original all brass (or maybe copper) radiatior. I couldn't see it before I refilled it. Only had about half the coolant volume in it before due to slow onset. Oops. Anyway, I'm going to pull it today and see about having it re-cored.

I got the mx3 all fixed up with a new clutch and the LSD trans out of my protege. I'm impressed by how hard it pulls. Now I just need to finish up the tune.

Not quite yet. This was for aligning, corner weighting, and having the exhaust welded up.

Tune should be in 2-3 weeks. (And the inevitable blowing of the motor. )

I'm ALMOST hoping the motor blows on the dyno. Will force me to finish the race bomb and put it in.
