What did you do to your BG(part 8)

more work done on the FE3 project.

fired up the 323, drove over to the parent's house for supper, drove it back home again.

took two HID bulbs out of the lightbar on the gray 4WD for possible inclusion on the subaru, pending measurements.

rebuilt the shifter linkage for the subaru. shifts freakin' awesome now.

had to smash on a 7/8 socket on my locking lug nuts to get them off as I lost my key when I had to address a seized parking brake mechanism in the RR caliper the other day...grrr lol, so I have 2 chrome nuts on there...looks like **** but works for now. Had the rear wheels off yesterday to do a complete clean/adjust and got the parking brake mech working perfectly again

today I'm going to tighten my shiftlinkage bolts, as it's getting a bit sloppy lol...then might do a boost leak test on her if I get bored.

changed oil. Was 500 miles overdue.... I was going to do it last weekend but didn't have enough time. Oh well. At least I got it done today. Oil looked ok for being a little overdue.

located an auto pro lx that had a blown head gasket. picking it up for a parts car. apparently its coming with an extra bp in the trunk. (w00t, i need a shortblock) picking it up tomorrow.

damn RR caliper!!! the friggen ebrake mechanism keeps sticking on me...had to pull the tire off on the side of the road again today..woohoo :/ going to go to some stores tomorrow and see if I can find some springs to do that ebrake mod...just wish I remembered the spring length lol gonna have to pull the wheel off and measure I guess.

just sold my pro gt today... a little hint on the ebrake, get some really good antiseize penetraiting oil and give them a shot once and awhile. keeps them working.

Ah its been a while so I dont remember all i did but i did lower the front end some more. Ordered some ES bushings from Rob.

so we been chasing an odd rattle for a few days now, come to find out the 2 lower of the 4 hot side chra bolts began to loosen and the plate under it would rattle at idle....lol.... wtf what ever no damage done and my car doesnt even sound like its running when its on anymore its great.... funny only 2 backed out a little, must be from vibration, ill have to remember to check them here and there .... i know the track miatas have problems once in a while so atleast im not the only one...lol... so guys remember to periodically check over for loose or missing nuts and bolts, atleast it didnt eat the hot side wheel....lol....
