Weird... i have a set of 00-05 Celica seats i'm dumping in an 88 MX6 GT.

I also have like... 2 pairs of MX6 GT seats and 1 pair of 626 GT seats if you want to come down and grab a pair. Most comfortable seats ever, and they sit lower than the EGT seats do. Downside is that they're kinda heavy.

      They are measured in CM...

You had problems with a 155 because the mx3 doesn't have split rear seats... I had troubles with my 153 in the MX3... But yet, I used to slip two 161's and another 157 in the small folding side of my first wagon, as well as 3 sets of boots and misc gear in the cargo area... and there was still room for 3 adult-ish people! **** if we ever got up the mountains though... 1.9L Auto at 9000' elevation with 3 people and their gear, LOL, ****er would lose speed going downhill!

Then I invested in another wagon to replace the first one, and a roof rack, swapped in more power with a proper 5 speed transmission to back it up, as well as some studded snows, now my current wagon is unstoppable. 5 people squished like sardines and all their gear, and we were still passing everyone!

      Wagons>Coupes/Small Hatches for snowboarding!

I 178th the 21mm rear bar... or mx3 stuff for the rear, to match the JPM front arms and just keep the MX3 rear sway bar. I kinda like mine.

Not having spilt seats had nothing to do with it, I had to angle the board to get it to fit while in the wagon the 163 would go straight in... Probably due to the trunk plastics protruding into the trunk way more.

I've driven a few ZX2s and the seats weren't that bad (no worse than stock 3G seats, and I had acceptable headroom despite being 5'10". I just like the MX3 seats.

I'm wary of changing the rear bar too much given that my turbo GT used to want to rotate in fast sweepers. I have a bunch of different sway bars I could play with though.

^ i don't think its fair to even compare a turbo GT to a zx2 or any other BG base.
those old tanks were notorious for handling like ass bags.

if your worried about a little oversteer. then dial in some rear toe to fix the problem.

i apparently don't know. regardless tampering with the rear toe will bring back the neutrality of excessive oversteer.
                something to keep in mind

(assumed you meant turbo GT as in probe/mx6)

I actually tried to put a ZX2 dark charcoal seat in the back of my car. At first I thought you were talking about front seats, and thats why I said IDK.

Anyway...The seat bottom is narrower and has a slightly different latch on each side where it clips to the floor. The seat back will bolt in but the latch it in a different spot entirely. It could work but it would be a hassle.

MX3 rears don't clip into the floor without modification anyway, I'm sure I could make it work.

Many of the team zx2 guys like using the 19mm rear sway bar. The 21mm does make it oversteer a bit, and the 19 makes it pretty much neutral. At least according to those guys.

And concealer404, thanks for the offer, but you're too far away to get a set of seats. I'm just going to get a set locally. If I can't find a set of celica seats, I might just go to the local junkyard and find a set that are comfortable, and make my own brackets for the seats. I know the celica ones pretty much bolt in, but they are hard to find.

Just curious, why would you want to put a 2nd gen rear seat in a zx2?

So it would match the front seats?

Also, Celica seats bolt in? This is relevant to my interests, I love those seats.
