I would have thought swapping the seat onto BG rails would have been easier lol, not a fan of drilling other mounting holes in the car.

super into that car. with any luck I'll be picking it up.

I'd probably swap the MX3 seats in though if I can't get used to how high the stock ones are.

This, welding and fab work to achieve actual bolt in status is Moar Better.

For sure! Especially considering the Escort/323/Protege all have equal height rails that are flat lol (MX3 seats are offset due to lower cushion design, as well as the AWD BG due to floor tunnel (although the rails may be equal height still)

Still chasing cooling problems. Today I discovered that my thermostat gasket leaks from where I installed it thursday, so I tightened it down. If that doesn't work I'll have to change it again.

Also found problems with both rubber coolant lines to the turbo. The return line is very swolen and spongy, but did not appear to leak yet while the supply line is hard and brittle and had a deep crack or cut in it which broke when I tried to pull it off. Also both ends broke off and I had to split them with a knife to remove them from the pipes.

I can't tell how much more there is to do down there, so I guess I'll keep taking it one step at a time. Sure is depressing though.

It might work, but it might not. What I would like to know is where the celica seats get their extra headroom. I mean, if it's from the seats themselves, then this might work. But if their rails give them the added head room, then this would defeat the main purpose of using the seats. At least for me. (That's to gain headroom.)

Drove mine to the Junkyard... Snapped some pics on the way, was looking for a drivers power window regulator, as I'm getting ready to swap in my power windows/locks maybe tuesday... Not one power window BG in the yard I went to... Found another EGT, (12 in four trips) but it was a 91 Auto, non power, blue, with Cayman bumpers... Not interested in painting another Bumper and nothing else I wanted so PASS... Then I found a 95ish Probe GT... Spotless engine/trans, like fresh rebuild on both spotless... (Looked like it had been Turbocharged possibly, as all the exhaust stuff had been snagged, saw possible remnants of a FMIC install, and the ECU had been hastily snagged) Car was T-boned in the front pass corner hard enough to break the alternator bracket... Might go back for that trans. It also has new looking Tokico Blues with Eibachs, if anyone wants them I could snag them... I did grab the AWR front trans mount off it! 90% off Retail! I'll need to look into using it on my next KL swap.

Nothing else interesting in that yard. (hoping for LSD in that trans, as it had soo many mods done, and looked like the engine/trans had just been built.)

I swapped out my ugly crappy usdm lenses for my edm's that I had laying around and wired them all up. Now I can see again. Next is the manual seat belt conversion as my automatic ones only go halfway down the track.

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.
