reliable daily, so it'll get an 03 nose, wingless trunk, some suspension stuff, and maybe an intake. that'll be about it.

Sat the es300 fogs on the headlight grill and I think in going to run into space issues. Jesus. I guess I'll figure it out one way or another bc right now, it's non functional anyway.

Yeah, '03 front ends are very hard to find. I was looking for one for my '03 (The car was fire damaged, and the original bumper was not useable...) but didn't find one in my price range while I was looking for one. Now I'm sort of putting everything on hold for that car, as I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I shouldn't have ever boughten the car. I just don't have the time or money right now to fix the car the right way....

picked the ZX2 up tonight. that car is a total sweetheart. has some little things to take care of (new tires/wiper blades/tune-up, tach signal was flaky at first, might be an air pocket in the coolant) but otherwise it is great.

also you dudes with headroom trouble must be freakishly tall or something, I could wear a ****ing top hat and still have room.

Went to the junkyard and found 4 pretty decent speakers that looked new for the total price of $10. Both sets looked pretty new. Found 2 rockford fosgates in the front doors of a Camaro and 2 Sonys in a zx2. Bam, the sony's fit the front no problems without the magnet interfering with the window. Obv, the rears were no issue at all.
Anyone ever had this problem with their front door speakers before? These weren't that old, maybe 3-4 years. The tape kept me from shorting them to ground and sending my HU into protect mode when I installed them years ago.

and holy **** those are rusty. I've never seen door speakers rust like that.

Does it have a sunroof? Mine does, and I know that takes up some headroom. And how tall are you? I know I'm tall at 6'5", but I know a couple of my buddies that are right around 6', and they have headroom issues as well.

Anyways, what did I do to my bg? I got it ready for tommorow's snow storm. I commute daily to a college 40 miles away, and haven't had to stay home because of weather in the year and a half I've been there, and I don't plan on starting now. If it (college) is not cancelled, I'm going, no matter what the weather is. Even if it means driving in tommorow's predicted 6 to 9+ inches of snow and 25+ mph winds with even higher gusts.... So I decided to get my car ready in case it isn't canceled. I swapped on my bridgestone blizzak ws60 snow tires, removed my front sway bar's endlinks so that the car does better in snow, removed the custom front lip from the car so that it doesn't act like a snow plow, recoated my windsheild with rain x, and added some winter wiper blades. I already had my emergency shovel and some orad flares stored in the trunk, so I should be good to go....
