I'm trying to figure out what you were trying to say. You used your BG to swap a Small Block Ford engine into a second Gen RX7 that was sitting in a Mud hole??? Obviously you didn't use your BG as a parts source to complete the 302 swap... So I'd imagine that you used it to haul tools and an engine hoist? Either that or I'm way off and you tried to tow a 302 powered RX7 out of a mudhole where it got stuck... Your wording is hard to decipher. The words resemble english, but the flow is off.

Oh, and I picked up the garage so I can bang out the rest of the wagon when I get a chance. I still need a waterpump belt, Front bumper, and I need to fill the transmission, and charge the battery. Then I need to figure out what all will remain on the car since it will be parked outdoors when complete. The plan was for it to reside in the garage, but the Miata is too nice to sit in the driveway, and I would be pissed if the wagon got jacked because it was too blingy, or got destroyed by wind and/or hail. (mostly worried about the foglight grille and E36 housings in the weather, but also bling factor)

oh, okay, i see whats up. sorry bout that, its been a long night. we created a mudhole when we pressure washed the car, but the car was already in the air. it just seemed like more work to move the car, so we just did the swap in the mud hole. but we got the hoist (with motor and trans combo) stuck in the mud hole about a foot away from being where it needed to be dropped in the hole. we had 6 guys trying to shove the hoist forward towards the car to get the swap done, but it was stuck, and stuck good. so to get the hoist up to the rx7, i hit it with my car. several times.

trust me, i dont think i could get away with 302 swapping my car without any of you guys noticing.

EDIT: also scored a manual boost controller.

sold my BG and delivered her to the new owner last night. Time to spend some time on the 6. I know it's a big WTF but just wasn't practical for what I need now, and trying to get down to one car with my and my GF after she gets a grip on driving 5 speed.

Went to put in my new speakers last night, only to find that the openings are going to have to be enlarged to fit the silly cast aluminum frame. I really don't want to cut this car, we'll see.

To make things worse, I found one of my nice coax speakers I had in there had seized.

I want to get the car on the road this week. I suppose I can live with only one speaker for a while.

May sound redneck, but cut out the rust, bend up a piece of metal to use as a patch, and use jbweld to bond the two together. Doesn't sound good, but if you do it well enough, and paint over it, people won't notice. I've done it with my race car at the track when I don't have access to a welder. Or you could borrow a welder. But jb weld works. Just not the "right" way to do it.
