Met up with Durwood and another friend today (not sure if he's on CP to be honest, has a Festiva he's working on a KL swap...no it's not Damkid lol). Met up so Durwood could grab some tires from him, and I could grab the Familia front strut bar off Durwood

I like that exactly NONE of my fancy suspension bits fit the ZX2.

So called bled my brake / clutch system. Clutch still self releases when the pedal is under full compression. Takes it about 10-15 seconds before it starts to pull.

That's not a problem bleeding will solve. You have a bad salve or master. Or you could also have a leak. Look under the dash at the clutch master and surrounding area to see if it is wet. This is and indication of a failed/failing master. Simple check, but it will tell you a lot.

That was the first thing I checked. I had to replace the mc, slave and and the thing on the tranny at the same time bc I had this issue before about 5-6 years agoand couldnt figure it out. But then, I couldnt get it to go into gear at all. Now, i just cant keep the man pedal compressed.

Its a pain, but with no money, i'll just have to adjust my driving style for a while longer. Its been doing it for a few months already. I was hoping some air just got in the line. Smh.

Rock auto has master cyl's for about 15.xx and slaves for about 10

You can always try to get local places to price match too. Sometimes they will.

I'll look into but nothing for now as long as its still driveable. Money is super tight with this new house and finish paying for this wedding in sept. Then I have to make a unsuspecting trip to Ohio next / this month. Oh, the joys of life.

But when I get the funds, its def on the top 5 things to do. Number 1 for next year is getting the a/c fixed. Got put on the back burner this year.

That won't be bad to replace. Just gotta have someone here to help me bleed it. Maybe this month I can get that done.

Just make sure you bleed it properly, or you might have to replace it prematurely again.

Dunno about the single-cam but on twin-cam cars it requires taking off the front trans mount bracket, which is annoying.
