If you replace them, the new bolts are probably going to be 18mm and 15mm. All of mine have been, anyway.

Drove Humpty the Rallykar today. It behaves pretty well these days but boost control needs work. We ran last rally on prettymuch stock wg but that simply has to change. Now that other more important things seem to be sorted, time to make some more Go...'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

So she's legit and in the parking lot of my apartment building! I'll be going up next weekend, my friend's going to drive the BG back to my place, and I'm giving him a ride home lol....gonna be a lot of mileage that day :/ haha

Here's how my day went today. Went to a new (to me) junkyard today with my grandpa and scored a few parts for very little money. First thing I did was go the escort/focus section. I was looking for an s/r for some parts (yeah, I know, most likely not going to find one) or a 2003 for a front bumper. I then spotted an 03, but it's bumper was beyond trashed. But right next to it was an escort wagon. And what I saw made me do a double take. Yup, I spotted it. An ultra rare, one or two year only, factory armrest, in the same color as my interior!!! SCORE!! I checked the year, and it said October of 1996.
Then I went to the Toyota section to find a celica for some seats. No luck. I found one car, but it was burnt inside, so nothing was left of the seats.
Then I went to the mazda section. The first thing I saw was a teal mx3 GS. I looked inside and sure enough, it had a set of mx3 recaro style seats. But the were torn, and the windows were busted out, so the seats were mouldy. The car also had some tokico blue struts that I might have to go back for when I have time. I moved on, and found a red mx3 with tan interior. It's seats were missing, but then I saw one of them next to the car. It was sitting outside for a while, but it had no tears. Just a little wet, and some rusty rails. But I couldn't find the matching passenger side anywhere. Which I thought was weird, as it's always the driver side that wears out and people are looking the replace them. Anyways, I kept looking, and found another mx3 gs with blue seats. The driver side was ripped up, but the passenger side was in good shape. So I grabbed the passenger seat, and grabbed the tan passenger seat from the red mx3 and put them in a pile along with the arm rest. Then I started looking at other cars, but didn't find anything else that I wanted, so I brought everything to the office and asked how much for everything. I was figuring around $150-$200, so when he said $100 plus tax, I was as happy.
The seats have to sit out in the sun for a few days to dry, and they don't match, but I plan on saving up and getting a set of oem leather covers brand new from a top secret mazda NOS (new old stock) parts source I just found, so it doesn't matter if they match or not anyways.
Oh, and if anybody is looking for an mx3 gs wheel or two, they have 3 of them left there in pretty good shape. Just a heads up if someone has a bent wheel or two and is looking for a replacement. My family has lots of bg's!

I sort of wonder if I'm not better off parting out my own s/r instead of fixing it.... I'd make money parting it out, but I've had a thing for rare/different cars, and like the s/r...
And you shoulda grabbed the intake, springs, shifter, shifter boot, and shifter knob. You'd make money doing so.My family has lots of bg's!

Attempted to fix my header leak today. Discovered a cross-threaded stud in the head, a hole in the radiator, and scratched my front bumper. I replaced the gasket and ground down the part of the pipe that was sticking out, and it still ****ing leaks. Stock manifold is going back on tomorrow, new radiator will be in Sunday morning.

Meh. I already have a b&m somewhere, the intake was gone, as were the shift knob and boot. And Brody, I don't think anyone wants 170k mile eibach springs.
No problem Matt, when I saw a yellow zx2 about 8 rows away from the escort I was pulling parts out of, I instantly thought of you.Current:
