I picked up a 94K Kia 5spd and jackshaft today

got my Powder pulley turned down at a machine shop to fit the early-style crank washer so I don't have to worry about it eating timing belts, and managed to ignite a ****storm on TeamZX2 when I said that the exhaust tip on the S/R Borla was silly and that I wanted to replace it.

Haha, I missed that, gotta find that post for a good laugh. And I can see how you think it looks silly. Although I personally don't mind it.

yea, it's totally a personal preference thing- if it were like a 3" tip or something it would be fine, but it just looks goofy to me and it's gonna be even worse when I put stock suspension on the car for the winter.

Nah, it's not that rare Matt. It's a 2000 S/R. And I will be sure to post a thread on team zx2 when I cut the tip off.

I just read the Borla muffler saga, the thread linked to Jim's AWD subframes and a couple other gems over there. Every time I read something on that forum I feel dumber. 90% of them are tools.
