        just ordered new pads, trying to decide which rotors to get. I see you can't get slotted Brembos for these things anymore.

          i've had pretty good luck with ABT rotors. & they do have slotted units

            where do you get them and how much?

            cost/benefit is pretty crucial on this thing, only reason I'm considering slotted is these pads don't really mix well with blanks and rain at highway speeds (unless that was just my Miata, but it was pretty disconcerting to start braking for an off-ramp and get nothing...)

                  It's not hard at all, depends on how pretty you want them to look. I bent the stock lines around to fit, and added 2 pre-made lines from Napa.

                    it being "hard" and my not wanting to do it out of laziness/hate are two separate things entirely.

                    still waiting on why putting a four-wheel disc prop valve in a car that doesn't have them is a good idea.

                      Installed my HKS EVC and to took it out to dial it in. Low and behold, a newer STI decides to crawl up my ass. Set at 20 PSI, I hammer it, and start pulling away until we hit 130ish, then he started reeling me in. I move over and let him go. As I let off and coast, watch my rear view, I start seeing embers/sparks coming out of my exhaust. Started scaring the crap out of myself. Otherwise, Ive never had as much fun in this car! :D Anyone else thinking about a gt28, do it!

                          Im not looking for massive power, but around the 300whp range. on a proper tune. These transmissions are hard enough to find, and 300 is about as much as I think anyone would care to put through them.
