Anyone ever have issues using a tial to greddy BOV adapter? Ive got a **** greddy installed now but looking at buying a tial 50mm. Any input?

I should probably swap out the motor etc before buying less necessary ****. But thats another conversation.

adapters sound like a rad way to add potential boost leaks. real Greddy or nah?

Tial 50 is way overkill for that setup.

Fake ebay special that came on the original intercooler piping. I had the car running with it but not for long. I think I'll hold off on any down the line purchases for now.

I bought a 79¢ fuse puller from China that almost fit perfectly in the stock fuse puller location. It actually pulls fuses too miraculously.

I think my PCV valve was stuck closed which was causing my VC leakage. Either way it's not leaking anymore.

I need to fix the passenger side door ajar switches. The front is broken completely and the rear works after I giggle it. Going to put some conductive grease on them to see if that extends the service interval, I think I've had to fix them every two years or so.

new plugs (actually gapped correctly, unlike the Densos), wires, and coil, and thermal tape-wrapped the intake. no idea if the car runs better, since I only drove it down the street. not giving up a sweet parking spot near my apartment to test-drive this dumb car #Miamiproblems

ETA: yes, my engine bay is filthy. also, I need to figure out what size those couplers are for the Iceman and order new ones because they're starting to get all cracked and ****ty on the outside.

Bought a roll of 1.5mm tape-backed foam hat has killed most the vibrations from the passenger side and sun roof.. Putting off the drivers side till the next time I need to pull the cluster. Well wortht the $8.50

Still have a bit too much windnoise at 80 for my liking. I'd say the doors are aligned poorly but they're as true as possible for a 20 year old car. I'll probably bend the window frames a bit inward like I did when I first got the car and highway wind noise was unbearable.

I also walked out to the passenger side mirror haven fell out the other day.

Explains why it had been vibrating to high hell. Managed to find a thicker screw that fit in the hole and it's better than new.

Only thing wrong with the car starting the new year will be the tint starting to fail, slight trunk leak, rough paint, and the rear defrost needing a bit of a refresh.
Not bad for a car that just rounded 225k.

Cleaned the MAF on my 99 escort the other day in search of why the fuel mileage is less than stellar and my idle is so high. No immediate change noted. Next warm day i'm going to clean it again and also remove/clean the IAC valve.
